Synopsis:
Callie Daniels' mother has one dying wish. She wants neighboring rancher, Garrett O'Neill, to marry her seventeen year old daughter. It's not supposed to be a conventional marriage.Garrett O'Neill would keep Callie's ranch safe and Callie would go away to college.

Four years later, Callie comes home with stars in her eyes and happily ever after in her heart. She plans to make their marriage real until finds the new housekeeper, Sylvie in Garrett's arms.

Heartbroken, Callie takes off to her own house, which they closed up four years ago. She stays there with Old Henry, a longtime friend and ranch hand, until her new horse injures her. Garrett forces Callie to move back in to his house.

Callie finally gets her heart's desire. Alone in a line shack, they make sweet love for the first time. Unfortunately the love light is gone from Garret's eyes the next morning.

Interview:
About the Book:
Give me the blurb for the book in 140 characters or less:

To protect her ranch, Callie marries Garrett, attends college. She comes home finding heartbreak, and another woman in Garrett’s arms.

Do you have a favorite character? Why is she your favorite?

My favorite character is Callie. She comes home thinking that all her dreams would be true as soon as she walks through the farmhouse door. It was quite the opposite. I love her raw emotion. She grows from a naive girl into a woman who will fight for her love.

What do you hope readers will get from your book?

Enjoyment and the feeling that they were swept up in a wonderful romance.

About the Author:
What/Who inspires you?

Life inspires me. I draw on the emotions of everyday life.

Hardest aspect of writing? Best/Easiest?

The hardest right now is to write for myself and not for critics. I’m at my best when I write because I love it.

Who is your writing hero?

The author friends I have made who took a chance and sent in their submission and those who self published.

About the Future:
What’s next for you?

I have book two and three of the Lasso Springs Series coming out in September and February. The titles are Lone Star Joy and Stetson’s Storm.

I have the Dawson Ranch Series coming out in June and August. The titles are Texas Haven and Ryelee’s Cowboy.

Secret Cravings Publishing has invited me to do a Sunday Series on their website. That should start in a few weeks. Right now the title is Luke’s Fate. It will be a free series that I add to every week.

One outrageous goal for the future?

It’s not outrageous but I would love to meet all of the friends I have made online at a writers convention.

Do you have any advice you'd like to share with other aspiring writers?

Keep writing and learn the rules of your genre. Entering contests that provide feedback was my best teaching tool.

Sweet

Beach, plains or mountains?
