Synopsis:
Wiley has lived alone for many years without a home, without friends, and with the longing to find these, once again. Like Heaven sent, Wiley's path crosses with Emily, an endearing little girl who was homeless once, herself. A friendship between Wiley and Emily blossoms, but in the midst of this new bond, illness falls over little Emily, leaving Wiley, once more, alone.
My thoughts:
I really enjoyed this short story that the author has weaved. Without saying too much and giving it away, all I can say is that homeless Wiley forms a irreplaceable friendship with Emily, who, in the end, helps him in a way that most "real" friends could not. I recommend this short story to anyone who likes a inspirational read with a twist :)
