About the Book:
Give me the blurb for the book in 140 characters or less:
On a work assignment in Japan, Paige meets a younger man. Even though she is married she is attracted and to Casey. Her husband suddenly shows up and all hell breaks loose when Paige realizes there is more going on than she realized. Drawn into the middle of a vampire coven wars, she must fight to save her life and that of the vampire she has grown to love.
Do you have a favorite character? Why is she your favorite?
Paige is my favorite. I can relate to her. She is not perfect and has her flaws. Even though she is married, she finds that she is in a situation that is beyond her control. She is independent and can make her own decisions.
What do you hope readers will get from your book?
Being married to a jerk can actually have a happy ending.
About the Author:
What/Who inspires you?
My husband inspires me. He is very supportive in whatever I do and keeps me motivated to keep doing what I want to do, which is write.
Hardest aspect of writing?
The hardest part of writing is the interruptions of day to day life. Right in the middle of an intense scene someone sends a message wanting to chat or the phone rings…or I have to go to work.
Best/Easiest?
The best part is getting messages from fans wanting to know when the next story is coming out and how much they love my stories.
The easiest part to writing is when I get an idea, the story flows and I can usually get my ideas down fairly quickly.
Who is your writing hero?
Christine Feehan and Sherilynn Kenyon are my all-time favorite authors. I love their stories and how they have created their own world with a long series of characters.
About the Future:
What’s next for you?
I am currently working on a sequal to “One Bite To Passion”, continuing Rosa’s story. I am hoping to have that completed in the next couple of weeks since the publisher is already pushing for it.
On the indie publishing side of things, in March I released “No Remorse” Book One in the Heart of a Wolf Series and am currently getting ready to release a short story that goes along with this series “A Justified Kill”.
“Softest Touch” Book two of the series will be released Jan/Feb 2013
One outrageous goal for the future?
Retire in the next five years and spend my time by the pool writing and staring at the hunky pool boy.
Do you have any advice you'd like to share with other aspiring writers?
If you have a story to tell, then tell it. It doesn’t have to be perfect…that is why we have beta readers and editors. Don’t let anyone stand in your way, follow your dreams.
Randomness:
Sweet or salty? Can I have sweet and salty at the same time?
Beach, plains or mountains? Mountains that are within a couple hours driving distance from the beach.
Online, letters or in person? Oh, definitely ONLINE
Ebook or print? Print, there is just something about holding the book in my hands.
