Warrior Reborn by Melissa Mayhue Blog Tour Interview

SYNOPSIS:
Former special ops agent CHASE NOBLE has been searching his whole life for the place where he belongs. As a descendant of Fae, he senses fate has more in store for him, and he will not rest until he discovers what his true purpose is. When he travels back in time to medieval Scotland, he discovers his mission is to save a beautiful woman—the same woman he is destined to be with.

CHRISTIANA MACDOWYLT possesses the gift of foresight. Prisoner of her evil half-brother, Christiana’s visions show her that only one warrior can rescue her—a man she is mysteriously drawn to. The only problem is, he’s in the future. Now she must rely on the magic of a Faerie to transport him to the past. And when Christiana finally meets Chase, the sparks between them set off a smoldering desire. But will the magic that brought them together also tear them apart?

INTERVIEW:

About the Book:
Give me the blurb for the book in 140 characters or less:

Boy lost. Girl faces evil; Faerie helps. Boy zapped 700 years into past. Boy meets girl; sparks fly. Boy saves girl - Happy Ever After.

Do you have a favorite character? Why is he your favorite?

My favorite character in this book would have to be Halldor O’Donar. Why? Because even I don’t know all his secrets yet!

What do you hope readers will get from your book?

The joy of escaping to another place in another time and that when they close the book, they’ll feel happy and uplifted.

About the Author:
What/Who inspires you?

Like most authors, I draw inspiration from everyone and everything around me. I never know when I’m going to see someone or something, hear a snippit of conversation or a few notes of music, or even stumble over some obscure fact while I’m researching that will send my imagination soaring to places it’s never been before.

Hardest aspect of writing? Best/Easiest?

Because I’m a Pantzer, not a Plotter, I never know for sure where my story is headed until it gets there. Some days that means staring out the window with a mind as blank as my computer screen. J Easily, the BEST part of writing is typing “The End” and then hearing from people who have read and loved the books.

Who is your writing hero?

There are so many authors I admire for so many reasons, I’m not sure I could pick just one.

About the Future:
What’s next for you?

I’m currently working on the third book the The Warriors series, tentatively titled WARRIOR UNTAMED.

One outrageous goal for the future?

To hit the New York Times Best Seller list. And make a million dollars. You did say “outrageous”… right? J

Do you have any advice you'd like to share with other aspiring writers?

Listen to that little voice inside your head that tells you what makes a good story [rather than all the people who might try to convince you otherwise] and write, write, write. The more you write, the better you get!

Randomness:
Sweet or salty?
Oh no! I have to have them both! Often at the same time!! J

Beach, plains or mountains?

Mountains

Online, letters or in person?

Online [I’m always online!!]

Ebook or print?

A year ago, I would have said print. But now, I’ve been seduced by my Kindle Fire with its easy access to books [2:00 in the morning, anyone???] and its ability to give me LARGE print on those days when I have tired eyes [um… like at 2:00 in the morning!].
