Synopsis:
In this new periodical short story series from Trestle Press, a man on the brink of self-destruction is given the opportunity to start over.
Allan and his family are faced with many new changes on their first day. This creates instant friction with the children. Allan considers the offer to take his old teacher’s place at the schoolhouse. His decision leads to an unexpected event.
My thoughts:
I really loved this part of this short series. I admire Allan's courage and tenacity throughout this part of the story. Not many people I know would make the sacrifices that he has... I can't wait to see what happens in part 3. I recommend this to anyone interested in the Amish way of life :)
