Michelle Cross is an average, seventeen year old girl growing up in a small town in New Jersey. Hello everyone, I’m author Katherine Polillo and my first book, Destine, will be available in eBook format through amazon.com on August 8th. I was wondering what I could do for a guest blog post, and I was at a loss. What I decide was that I would share some of my favorite songs that I listen to while writing. Granted this is a small selection, but it’s a fair statement to say that these are some of my favorites that help get my creative juices flowing.
You can obviously tell rather quickly that I am a huge Weezer fan, and proud of it. Also I will go on record as saying I enjoy country music. I know that statement is blasphemy in some circles, but it’s what I grew-up listening to. Upon writing that statement I now realize I have left off all my beloved Johnny Cash and Loretta Lynn music. Katherine Polillo originally planned to grow-up and run away with the circus, but after realizing that she had a debilitating fear of heights that squashed her dreams of being a tight ropewalker, she instead pursued a career in education. She currently teaches high school history and fabricates fictional stories in her free time. She never really out grew her imaginary friends stage, and instead has created lives and stories for the creations of her imagination to live in.
