Lost and without purpose, Abrianna struggles with the death of her mother. The only person she can count on is her boyfriend, Michael. But a secret he keeps from her could break her heart and threaten her existence.

Do you have a favorite character? Why is he your favorite?

Yes. My favorite character is Graham because he was based on my first love. What do you hope readers will get from your book? 

I hope readers will be able to relate to the loss, love and heartbreak the main character experiences.

My mother inspires me to be great and to do great things.

The hardest aspect of writing is the editing process and the best is creating a world based on my ideas. Who is your writing hero?

• How do you feel about your family, now that you’re an adult?

I hate my mother for making me the way I am.

• What do you want from life?

I want Abrianna. I think about her all the time and I will do anything to have her.

• What, in the outside world, is preventing you from getting it?

My mother doesn’t want me to be with her. I am afraid she will hurt her.

• If you were granted three wishes, what would you ask for?

Abrianna, Michael’s death and freedom from my mother

• How do you fall in love? At first sight? Over a long period?

I have only been in love once and it was at first sight.

• When you walk into a room, what do you notice first? Second?

I notice the scent then the people.

• When you walk into a room, what do you expect people to notice about you?

Yes. I demand respect just as my mother taught me.

• What do you consider are your strengths?

I am strong, fast and smart

• What do you consider are your weaknesses?

I have none. I thought Abrianna was a weakness but I know now she is my strength.

• What or who is the greatest love of your life?

Abrianna

I am afraid that Abrianna will never be mine

AUTHOR BIO: 

 I was born in Mandeville, Manchester, Jamaica. I moved to Canada eleven years ago. I discovered writing when I was eleven. However, I was unable to pursue it since I resided in a country where writing was impractical. I rediscovered the art my third year at York University. Kinesiology, the program I was enrolled in, was no longer simulating and I found myself questioning my purpose in life. This led me to poetry and poetry led me to writing novels.
