Princess Rachel by Jorge R Guerra Review

Synopsis:
Princess Rachel is about a sweet princess who has everything she ever wanted: a huge castle to live in with as many toys as you can think of, lots of gardens to play in, and many animal friends in the forest. But Princess Rachel was still unhappy. She wanted some human friends to play with her.

This is the story of Princess Rachel’s quest to find new friends to share her castle, garden, and friends with.

My thoughts:
I loved the illustrations in this book. The author created a story line that was well written and easily portrayed in the pictures. Now with that said, while this book is technically geared towards children, the story line is aimed more towards adults. What I got from it is that no matter what possessions you give a child, they are still going to want human companionship and nothing can be a substitute for those interactions. This story is a great reminder to parents that "love" is what a child needs, not "possessions" that most willingly hand over in a temper tantrum at the store.
